How to use carbomer 940:

1. Direct method

2. Indirect method

The polymer emulsifier is dispersed in the oil phase and continuously stirred until smooth and uniform dispersion is formed, adding proper amount of alkali to the water as neutralizer, stirring rapidly and adding the polymer containing oil phase into the aqueous phase, and stirring until the white emulsion is moved.

Precautions for use:

After neutralization of carbomer 940, long-time stirring will lead to the decrease of viscosity; Not resistant to acids, electrolytes, salts and other substances; When pH ≥ 10, UV irradiation for a long time will reduce its viscosity, otherwise it is generally insensitive to UV.
