Tris base buffer is usually referred to as the basic buffer of CAS no.77-86-1, which is prepared by dissolving Tris in water and adjusting pH with HCl. There are also Tris base salt, also known as TBS buffer, which is based on TB buffer and added with some inorganic salts.
